Identity Engines is a founding member of the OpenSEA Alliance. The OpenSEA Alliance is an 501c6 non-profit organization that has come together in order to promote the development and adoption of a robust and reliable open-source 802.1X supplicant for secure access to network and other computing resources. Developing, promoting, and distributing an open source 802.1X supplicant is the The OpenSEA Alliance’s initial objective. In addition, the group will focus on open source networking and security technologies.
The Trusted Computing Group (TCG) is a not-for-profit organization formed to develop, define, and promote open standards for hardware-enabled trusted computing and security technologies, including hardware building blocks and software interfaces, across multiple platforms, peripherals, and devices. TCG specifications will enable more secure computing environments without compromising functional integrity, privacy, or individual rights.
The Initiative for Open Authentication (OATH) is a collaborative effort of IT industry leaders aimed at providing a reference architecture for universal strong authentication across all users and all devices over all networks. Using open standards, OATH will offer more hardware choices, and lower cost of ownership, and allow customers to replace existing disparate and proprietary security systems whose complexity often leads to higher costs. Identity Engines is a Contributing Member of OATH.
